Messidona - the next Messiah is here

Not since Diego has anyone scored a similar goal against a top side like Messi against Getafe. The guy is truly amazing, remember he is only 19 years old still. God only knows what he will achieve over the next ten years. In my view, Messi is already one of the top-5 strikers in football.

I don't think he is Top-5 just yet, but he clearly has the potential to be. I've only watched a few of his games, mainly the U-20's he was in, and this guy is truly a world class player.

Do you think he'll be the player to surpass the achievements of Ronaldinho? According to an interview on Aug. 4th , Diego Maradona seems to think so. He said Messi is a player without limits and will be deserving of the number 10 jersey one day. I'm thinking it's a little early to be predicting that much. Only time will tell.

Time will really tell what will become of Messi. But if his skills will still improved and he will remain playing, I think he will reach the top 5 strikers in European League not so far from now.

I didn't know he was that young! Its starting to freak me out realizing how slow I am now, I need to get in some better shape.
