Man-to-man Coverage

In American football, “man-to-man coverage” refers to a strategy employed by the defensive team. In this scenario, an offensive player, such as a wide receiver, tight end, or running back is covered by any defensive back. The offensive player is covered by the offensive player until the play ends to ensure that the receiver doesn’t catch a pass.
