There are many forms of a “huddle” in American football. It is often characterized by the gathering of the team in a tight formation to talk about strategy, provide motivation, or for celebration. A “huddle” is usually done to prevent the opposing team from learning sensitive information and as noise insulation when communication on the field is difficult.
