Kyle Eckel plays fullback for the team of Denver Broncos of NFL. Signed by the New England Patriots in 2005 as an undrafted agent, Kyle played football at Navy College and has been an active member of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Miami Dolphins.
He was waived by the Patriots on September 3rd, 2005. Eckel got claimed off waivers by the team of Miami Dolphins and got placed on the Military/Reserve list on 7th September 2005, just days after getting claimed by the team. The team allowed him to practice and he got activated during the season, becoming an exclusive rights free agent in 2007 offseason. He was then re-signed to one year contract on 19th March 2007 and released on 1st September 2007 during the final cuts.
Later on, Kyle was signed by the team of Patriots on 3rd September 2007 with an offer of salary of $125,000 dollars. He scored his debut NFL touchdown in the final minute of the Patriots week six game which was played against the team of Dallas Cowboys. He also played a second match in the 10th week against Buffalo Bills. On 26th August, 2008, in the first round of the preseason cut, he was re-signed to the team roster and released on 22nd September 2008.
It was on 21st October 2008 that he was signed by the team of Philadelphia Eagles and got waived the following year on 5th of September. By 2009 he was signed by the New Orleans Saints team, the tenure of which was over due to his injury, when he got released on 9th December 2009. By June 4, 2010, Kyle was signed by the Denver Broncos team.
