Wide receiver Lance Andrew Moore, who played his college football with Toledo University, was signed in 2005 by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent. He is presently a member of the New Orleans Saints.

At Toldeo, Moore caught 222 passes for 2,776 yards. He made 25 touchdowns and compiled 902 kickoff return yards along with 399 punt return yards. In the Mid-America Conference championship game in 2004, he caught 3 touchdown passes. In his senior season, he was named First-team All-Mid America Conference.

Moore was first signed by the Browns in 2005 but was released by the team and signed to the New Orleans practice squad. In 2006, he played in four games for the Saints. The next season, he appeared in all 16 regular-season contests.

In two seasons, he has appeared in 20 games, making 33 catches for 312 yards, two scores and 23 first downs. His return stats include 26 punts for 230 yards and 17 kicks for 318 yards.

Moore, who is five-foot-nine and 190 pounds, offers some versatility as he can catch passes and return punts and kicks. His quickness and body control are good but he is undersized as a pass catcher. He is best at short and intermediate routes, lacking the speed for the deep catch. He lacks strength and has difficulty with large corners and in tight coverage. He’s got some good open field moves but not a lot to offer in the red zone or when trying to extend and catch.
