Micah Parsons is a professional American football player in the National Football League. Since 2021, he plays for the Dallas Cowboys. In his short career, he has been selected to play in the Pro Bowl, and in 2021, he was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. Prior to joining the NFL, he played collegiate football for Penn State from 2018 to 2020.

Micah Aaron Parsons was born on May 26, 1999, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He stands 191 cm tall and the outside linebacker’s weight was last listed at 112 kg.
He played high school football for Central Dauphin High School when he was a freshman. Later, he transferred to Harrisburg High School. He was a five-star recruit by the time he was a senior and he received a number of college offers.
He committed to play for Pennsylvania State University where he started his career as a middle linebacker. In 2019, he was named the Butkus–Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year. He was also named the Cotton Bowl Defensive MVP.
In 2020, he chose to let go of his remaining years of college eligibility in order to join the NFL Draft. He was picked by the Dallas Cowboys during the 2021 Draft and by June 2021, he had signed a four-year contract with the team.
In his rookie year, he received a number of accolades including being named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He was also named to the First-team All-Pro. In the same year, he was selected to play in the Pro Bowl. In addition to that, Parsons was also selected for the PFWA All-Rookie Team.
