Corey Clement is a free agent American football player with a running back position. During his college years, he played football in Wisconsin. The Eagles signed him as an undrafted and free agent in 2017. Corey Joel Clement won the Super Bowl LII with his team during his rookie season, catching one game touchdown.
Clement signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent on May 11, 2017. Clement was active during his first game in NFL versus the Washington Redskins in September 2017. This same month, he scored his first touchdown in NFL versus the New York Giants.
In Week 9 versus Denver Broncos, Corey Clement had a breakout game day with 2 rushing touchdowns, a 15-yard touchdown reception, and 12 rushes for 51 yards. Overall, Clement finished the season with 4 rushing touchdowns, 321 rushing yards, 10 receptions, 2 receiving touchdowns, and 123 receiving yards.
In 2018, he returned to the Eagles and scored his first touchdown of the season, particularly in Week 2 versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On December 11, 2018, in Week 14, Clement was placed on the injured reserve due to his knee injury. He completed the 2018 season with 2 rushing touchdowns and 259 rushing yards.
In 2019, he played mainly on special teams in the season’s first 4 games before being put on the injured reserve due to a shoulder injury. The Eagles decided not to put a restricted free agent tender on Corey Clement following the 2019 season. On March 18, 2020, Clement became a free agent.
Although the Eagles didn’t put tender as a restricted free agent, Clement re-signed with the team on April 29, 2020, for a one-year deal. He was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list on November 19, 2020, and activated eight days after. He signed with New York Giants on May 16, 2021. He signed with Dallas Cowboys on September 1, 2021.
