Kerryon Johnson is a professional American football player who is currently a free agent. He used to play for the Detroit Lions. He was also part of the San Francisco 49ers team for a short while. Johnson had also signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.

College and Professional Career

Johnson was at the University of Auburn from 2015 to 2017. While there, he was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2017. In the same year, he was also named to the First-team All-SEC.

In January 2018, he announced that he was joining the NFL Draft. He was drafted into the league by the Detroit Lions. He made his season debut in the season opener and he gained the distinction of becoming the first NFL player since Reggie Bush to rush more than 100 yards.

After a couple of seasons, he was waived by the Lions in 2021. Later, he was claimed off waivers by the Philadelphia Eagles who released him on August 26, 2021. In September, he signed with the practice squad of the San Francisco 49ers. They released him in October 2021. In December 2021, he was again signed by the Philadelphia Eagles.
