Kareem Hunt is a professional American football player in the National Football League. As of 2022, he plays for the Cleveland Browns. He also used to play for the Kansas City Chiefs, the team that drafted him into the NFL. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2017 and the same year, he was the NFL rushing yards leader.

Kareem AJ Hunt was born on August 6, 1995, in Lorain, Ohio. The running back stands 180 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 98 kg.
He played for the Rebels football team at the South High School in Willoughby, Ohio. In his senior year, he was ranked by Rivals.com as a three-star recruit. Hunt chose to commit to the University of Toledo.

College and Professional Career
Hunt played with the Toledo from 2013 to 2016. While there, he was named to the Second-team All-MAC in 2015. He was also named to the First-team All-MAC twice, once in 2014 and again in 2016.
During the 2017 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round. He was the 86th overall pick of the draft. In August 2017, he became the starting running back for the team, following an injury to Spencer Ware. In his first year in the NFL, he was the NFL Rushing Yards Leader. Also in 2017, he was selected to play in the Pro Bowl.
He was released from his contract in 2018 after a video surfaced, showing Hunt physically assaulting a woman. No formal charges were made. In 2019, he signed to play with the Cleveland Browns. At the start of the 2021 season, he was the backup to Nick Chubb but was placed on the injured reserve in October 2021.
