A running back, he attended the Burges High School and the University of Texas at El Paso. In 2020, he played in the Pro Bowl, and in 2019, he was the NFL Rushing Co-Leader.

Aaron LaRae Jones was born on December 2, 1994, in Savannah, Georgia. His parents are Alvin Sr. and Vurgess Jones. Both of his parents were in the US Army and the family moved around a lot when they were kids.

College and Professional Career
Jones committed to play for the UTEP Miners. He stayed with the University from 2013 to 2017. He was a big part of the team in his freshman and sophomore years. When he was a junior, he suffered an injury that caused him to miss a number of games. His first game back from injury was January in his senior year.
He was drafted into the NFL by the Green Bay Packers. He was their 182nd Overall Choice in the fifth round and he was the 19th running back selected in that year’s draft.
Jones debuted in the NFL during Week 4 in 2017. This was after Jamaal Williams and Ty Montgomery were sidelined due to injuries. In 2018, he was suspended for two games for violations of the league’s substance-abuse policy.
In 2019, he became the NFL rushing touchdowns co-leader. In 2020, he played in the Pro Bowl. In March 2021, he was re-signed with the Packers for another four years. The contract was worth a reported US$48 Million.
