Taylor Lewan is a professional American football player in the National Football League (NFL). He currently holds the offensive tackle position for the Tennessee Titans. Lewan is a three-time Pro Bowler and is one of the best offensive linemen in the league.
Born on July 22, 1991 in California, Lewan played football for Oakridge Secondary School, Cactus Shadows, and Chaparral High School. He went on to become an offensive lineman at the University of Minnesota where he became one of the top recruits in the country. He declared for the 2014 NFL Draft and was selected by the Tennessee Titans.
During his debut season, he played a total of 11 games and started on 6. In 2015, he became the starting left tackle of the Titans and allowed 5 sacks. Lewan was ranked 72nd in the Top 100 Players of 2017 and was named to his first Pro Bowl. In the next season, he was ranked 78th in the Top 100 and was named to his second Pro Bowl.
In 2018, Lewan renewed his contract with the Titans and became the highest-paid lineman in the history of the NFL. His current player statistics are 73 games played, 68 games started, 1 reception, 10 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdowns.
