Stefon Diggs is a professional American football player in the National Football League (NFL). He currently holds the wide receiver position for the Minnesota Vikings. He is a regarded as one of the best wide receivers in the league and is called the “Minneapolis Miracle”.
Born on November 29, 1993 in Maryland, Diggs played track and football for Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. He was considered as one of the finest high school football stars and was heavily recruited by various colleges. He eventually went to the University of Maryland on an academic scholarship. He declared for the 2015 NFL Draft and was selected by the Minnesota Vikings.
During his rookie year, he led the team with 52 receptions and 720 receiving yards with 13 receptions of more than 20 yards. In 2016, he became a leader in NFL receiving yards and he was ranked fifth among the wide receivers in the league. Diggs made a 61-yard touchdown that gave the team a dramatic win and was later called the “Minneapolis Miracle”.
