Leonard Fournette is a professional American football player in the National Football League (NFL). He currently holds the running back position for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fournette is a top football college athlete with many experts regarding him as the best player in the nation in 2015.

Born on January 18, 1995 in Louisiana, Fournette was a football superstar at St. Augustine High School and was highly recruited. He chose to attend Louisiana State University and recorded the fourth most rushed yards at 3,830 by an LSU player.

Fournette became the first running back and the fourth overall pick at the 2017 NFL Draft. He was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars and recorded franchise-record statistics during his first season. He suffered from an ankle injury later in the season which continued unto the 2018 season.

His current player statistics are 1,479 rushing yards, 3.7 rushing average, 14 rushing touchdowns, 58 receptions, 487 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns.
