Andre Woodson, Jr. is an American professional football quarterback player. He was drafted in the sixth round by the New York Giants of the NFL Draft 2008. He was the 198th pick, coming out of Kentucky.
Woodson is a big athlete, standing six-foot-four and weighing 230 pounds. While at Kentucky, he played in a total of 44 games and was the team’s starting signal caller from 2005-2007. His overall QB rating was 134.32. He threw 78 TDs and ran for five more. In his final season, he hit for 40 scores. He amassed a total of 9,360 passing yards while at Kentucky. He is a big man who has a strong arm and fine accuracy. He has good timing, tends to make sound decisions and is mobile in the pocket. His work ethic and leadership qualities are solid. Woodsen does well when under pressure. He can be streaky and is not the most mobile QB. Needs to refine technique and mechanics and has to learn to read coverage better. He has the makings of a good NFL QB and is a possible starter.
