Terrell Owens seems to be leaning more towards an acting career than a receiving career. Owens, who is known as being a showman, just filmed his first appearance on a sitcom and seems pretty heady about it. Owens appeared on the comedy “Under the Roof” and when it was broadcast, he turned on every television in his house.

Owens observed, “I think I surprised a lot of people with my performance… I feel like I can act.” He then said, “That’s what I want to do. If I wasn’t really comfortable with it and didn’t think I could really do it, then I wouldn’t have done it.”

Does Owens see his forte as being comedy? No, not really. TO believes that he can perform a range of roles. Of course, Owens has often tried to focus attention on himself. His on-field antics, in-your-face sideline confrontations and contentious personality have made him a lightening rod for the media, fans and other players.

In 12 seasons, the stellar wide receiver has played in 173 games, missing just 19. He’s accumulated 13,070 yards with an average gain of 14.8 yards. He’s gathered in 882 receptions and crossed the goal 129 times.

Owens may want to act more but his immediate future has him spending more time on the playing field.
