Saints or Colts, Take Your Pick

Well, we have a stalemate. Halfway through the season, and there are two remaining undefeated teams…The Indianapolis Colts and The New Orleans Saints. Powerful teams and marquee names.

The Colts host the Patriots this week while they Saints play at the Rams. The Saints should win with ease.

The Colts have won four of their last five games against the Patriots. The Colts won last year’s game, 18-15, playing on their home turf. The line on the game is The Colts favored by three.

I pick the Colts to win. Why? Mr. Manning. and Mr. Momentum. Dating back to last year, the Colts have won 17 consecutive regular-season games. The Patriots are only 1-2 on the road, with the road win coming in London against Tampa Bay.

The score will settle in at Colts 24- Patriots 20. The Patriots will have a strong 4th quarter, but too little, too late. Manning gets a slight nod over Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in this game. Look for Colts tight end, Dallas Clark to have a big game and Peyton Manning will deliver in the clutch once again.

As for the rest of the year, who do you think will end up with the best overall record? I think they both end up with 14-2 records. As for the team with the best chance of reaching the Superbowl…go with The Saints. peyton manning tom brady

I predicted The Saints in the Superbowl back in November 2009. Not bad, huh?
