Yorkshire County Cricket Club represents the historic county of Yorkshire as one of the 18 major county clubs which make up the English and Welsh domestic cricket structure. Yorkshire are the most successful team in English cricketing history with 32 County Championship titles, including 1 shared. The team’s most recent Championship title was in 2014, their first such victory since 2001.
Yorkshire currently plays in the County Championship Division One. The club’s limited-overs side are called the Yorkshire Vikings (formerly Yorkshire Carnegie and Yorkshire Phoenix), whose current (2014 onwards) kit colours are purple, black and yellow with Mazars as the main sponsor.
