Punjab University has its own cricket team which is considered to be the oldest cricket team of Pakistan. The team was founded in 1882 with the foundation of university. The team plays its home matches in their home cricket ground known as Punjab University Ground at Lahore. Some of the well known cricketers like Sarfraz Nawaz have played for the Punjab University Cricket Team.
