The Southerns cricket team was established in 2006 as a first-class cricket team in Zimbabwe. The team competed in the Logan Cup from the year 2006-2008. The Southerns Cricket team has a home venue in Masvingo. The team practices their matches at their home ground, Masvingo Sports Club.

The leading run scorer of the team is Terry Duffin and Robertson Chinyengetere scoring 287 and 241 runs in the year 2007 and 2008 respectively. The names of the leading wicket-takers include Gary Brent and Tafadzwa Kamungozi taking 17 and 19 wickets each in the year 2007 and 2008 respectively.
