The Mashonaland Eagles is known as one of the five cricket Zimbabwean cricket franchises. This is a first class cricket team, which is based in the Harare Metropolitan and Mashonaland Central area. The home matches of this team are played at the Harare Sports Club in Harare.

The captain of the team was Elton Chigumbura and when he left he was replaced by Foster Mutizwa. Founded in 2009, the Mashonaland Eagles team home ground is the Harare Sports Club situated in Harare. For the 2010/11 season Mash Eagles are yet to announce the new Captain and Head Coach

They made their first class debut against the Mountaineers cricket team in 2009-10, which was held at the Harare Sports Club.

In 2009/10 the were the Logan Cup Winners and Stanbic20 Finalist. In the Faithwear/Metbank One Day Competition they were semi finalist.

In 2010/11 Season they had a generally bad season but manged to salvage some silverware. They won the Stanbic20 Series tournament when they beat Midwest Rhinos by 1run in a tension filled final at Harare Sports Club.
