The Indian Cricket League in India is a private cricket league. In this league, the important championships that involve international players are played in the Twenty20 format. The domestic matches are played according to the 50 over pattern. The matches of the Indian Cricket League are organized at various venues in India. However, in the past these matches were played at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Gurgaon, Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad and Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula. The board members of the Indian Cricket League are Kapil Dev, Kiran More, Dean Jones and Tony Greig.
The Indian Cricket League has several teams like Dhaka Warriors, Lahore Badshahs, Ahmedabad Rockets, Delhi Giants, Royal Bengal Tigers, Hyderabad Heroes, Chandigarh Lions, Chennai Superstars and Mumbai Champs. Every team has a physiotherapist, psychologist, media manager and paid mentor. The coach of these teams has to be a former international cricketer. The players to be selected for these teams should be such that there are 4 international, 2 Indian and 8 domestic cricketers. The Indian Cricket League also has World Teams which are called as The World, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. These teams comprise of several past players of international repute.
