James Bernard Hockley, a professional English cricketer, was born on 16th April 1979 in Beckenham, England. He plays for the Kent County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman who occasionally bowls off break deliveries.
Hockley’s first-class debut came in 1998 in a match played against Oxford University, scoring runs. Hockey is considered more of a One Day specialist as he does not take many balls to settle in and has made seventy one appearances in the limited overs game for Kent. When Hockley was on a break from county cricket, he taught sports at a School in Cranbrook, He also played for the Hartley Country Club at the same time. He was re-signed by Kent for 2009 season as a result of his performances for Hartley.
