Aimee Watkins> is a professional cricketer who plays for New Zealand Women’s team. A genuine all-rounder, she has put up some brilliant batting and bowling performances. She is a left-handed batsman and her bowling style is left-arm off break. She made her international debut in Feb, 2002 against Australia. She was made captain of the New Zealand team in 2009. Other than the national team, Watkins plays State League for Central Districts.
Aimee Watkins played her first international Test against India Women’s team in Nov, 2003. So far, she has played just two tests scoring only fifteen runs. She has also taken three wickets at 105 runs in these matches. Her ODI career has been quite phenomenal so far with 1587 run in ninety two matches at a batting average of 20.34.
