Travis Rodney Birt is an Australian cricketer. He is a hard-hitting batsman who plays for Tasmania. He has also played for teams like Derbyshire, Tasmania, Delhi Daredevils, Western Australia and Hobart Hurricanes. Presently, he has been retained by the team of Delhi Daredevils to play at the IPL 5 season 2012.

His success in One-Day and T20 matches he played for Tasmania caught the attentions of the selectors and he was included in Australian squad for T20Is against Pakistan and New Zealand in Feb, 2010. Unfortunately, his performance in T20Is was below the bar as he could only 14 runs in three matches.

His 145 runs against South Australia is the highest ever one-day score in the history of Tasmania state. Brit scored 181 runs in a match he played for Derbyshire against Gloucestershire.
