Monish Dinesh Mishra is a professional Indian cricket player born in Bhopal in 1984. He bats right handedly and bowls right arm offbreak. He is a part of the teams like Madhya Pradesh, Deccan Chargers, Delhi Giants and Pune Warriors. Recently, he has been retained by the Pune Warriors team to play at the IPL 5 season 2012.
Mishra played a first class match from 25th to 28th December 2006 at Indore (Maharani Usharaje Trust Cricket Ground) and the opponent team was Goa. In the 1st innings, he was sent to bat at the No. 3 batting spot where he faced 99 deliveries and smashed 11 boundaries to accrue 56 runs. In the 2nd innings, he was demoted to the No. 4 batting position. He could score just 14 runs in 23 balls with the aid of 3 fours. This match was won by Madhya Pradesh by 3 wickets.
Eventually, on 15th May 2012, he was suspended along with five others for spot fixing issue, after India TV, a local news channel reportedly accused him based on a sting operation.
