Ryan John Campbell is 1.79 meters tall and is a wicketkeeper right handed batsman in teams like Western Australia Second XI, Western Australia, Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy, Australian Prime Minister’s Invitation XI, Australia A, ACB Chairman’s XI and Australia. In the ICL, he has been picked up by Ahmedabad Rockets.

Campbell was given a place in the Western Australia team with the intention of replacing Adam Gilchrist, however he made a name for himself as a specialist batsman. He seemed a natural in shot making and during the 1996-97 Australian first class season, he recorded the fastest century and half century. He debuted in Twenty20 cricket on 6th January 2006 at Perth (Western Australia Cricket Association Ground) during a match between Western Australia and Victoria.
