Anup Revandkar

Anup Revandkar is a right handed batsman and a useful right arm fast bowler. He has represented India Under-19 and Mumbai teams. In the domestic cricket scenario in India, Revandkar played for Mumbai and made his debut against Baroda in February 2008. So far, he has participated in just 3 matches and got the opportunity to bowl only 2 overs in these and still was successful in picking up a wicket. His batting average in these 3 innings was 27.33 and he had a robust strike rate of 76.33. He could record just 1 half century when he made 59 runs in a List A match.

The Rajasthan Royals acknowledged Revandkar’s all round play and included him in their roster during the first season of IPL. Although, the Royals won the IPL crown in 2008, Revandkar did not get a chance to prove himself in any of the games.

Revandkar debuted in List A Cricket against Baroda at Deccan Gymkhana Ground, Pune on 27th February 2008. In this match, he was the No. 3 batsman and he faced 14 deliveries and collected 10 runs with the aid of 2 boundaries.
