Sudeep Tyagi is a member of Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Recently, he was again selected to play at the IPL 5 season by this team. He bats right handedly and bowls right arm medium. The other teams he has played for are India and Uttar Pradesh.

Sudeep Tyagi played his first First-class match from 3rd to 5th November 2007 at Cuttack (Barabati Stadium). This was a match between Orissa and Uttar Pradesh. In the 2nd innings, he took 4 wickets while conceding 46 runs in the 16.4 overs which he bowled, out of which 3 were maiden. Uttar Pradesh was victorious by an innings and 10 runs. Tyagi debuted in List A cricket against Rajasthan at Kanpur (Green Park) on 26th February 2008. He did not get an opportunity to bat in this match. In the 8.3 overs that he bowled, 61 runs were scored, but failed to take a wicket. This match was won by Rajasthan by 8 wickets with 3 deliveries to spare.
