Srikkanth Anirudha is a right handed batsman and the son of former Indian opening batsman, Krishnamachari Srikkanth He has represented teams like Chennai Super Kings, Tamil Nadu Under-19s, Tamil Nadu, India Under-19s and India Green. Presently, he has been bought by Chennai Super Kings to play for IPL 5 season 2012.
Srikkanth Anirudha made his Twenty20 debut on 3rd April 2007 at Visakhapatnam (Andhra Cricket Association – Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association Stadium) against Andhra. While fielding, he took 2 catches. He was the opening batsman for Tamil Nadu and he faced 32 deliveries and scored 50 runs. This knock included 1 sixer and 4 boundaries. Tamil Nadu won this match by 7 wickets with 13 deliveries to spare. In the IPL, he played against Deccan Chargers (MA Chidambaram Stadium) at Chennai on 6th May 2008. He was sent to bat in the No. 3 batting position, where he scored 1 run in 7 balls. Deccan Chargers won this match by 7 wickets with 12 deliveries to spare.
