Misbah-ul-Haq is amongst the most talented cricket players of Pakistan national Cricket team. He was signed by Bangalore Royal Challengers in the year 2008 for IPL. The other teams with which Misbah-ul-Haq has been associated are Khan research Labs, and Sargodha. He is a right-handed batsman.

In 10 Test matches on the whole, 671 runs were scored, with ‘161 not out’ being the highest one. He has 2 test centuries to his credit. Misbah-ul-Haq has also played 14 T20Is; wherein ’87 not out’ was his highest score. After being out of focus for three years, i.e. from 2005 to mid-2007, Misbah-ul-Haq bounced back in July. He stood to the expectations of selectors by proving to be the best player of Pakistan in Twenty20 Championship held in South Africa.
