Pinal Rohitbhai Shah, has played the role of a wicketkeeper so far and he is a right-handed batsman. As a part of India’s U-19 team, he has been credited for having a 1st-class double century. Pinal has also played for India red and Baroda. At present, he is a part of the Rajasthan Royals team to play at the IPL 5 season 2012.

Pinal made his debut in cricket in the form of a Test Match held from 1st of December, 2005. This match was played between Baroda and Uttar Pradesh; wherein Baroda was victorious. It won by 93 runs and an innings to spare. In the first innings, Pinal could make 31 runs in 47 balls; inclusive of 3 boundaries.

From the side of Mumbai Indians, he played his IPL match against Delhi Daredevils on 24th of May, 2008; wherein Mumbai Indians lost the match by 5 wickets with 1 ball to spare. In this 20-over match, Pinal was out on a duck.
