Brett Raymond Dorey is a right arm fast medium bowler and a right handed batsman with the Australian cricket team. He has also played for the Western Australia cricket team.

Brett has been playing first class cricket since 2004. He used to play cricket for the Western Australian under 17 and under 19 teams. He made his debut in International cricket in a One Day International match against South Africa at Melbourne in the 2006 VB Series. Dorey claimed one wicket and gave away 51 runs in the 9 overs that he bowled which also included a maiden over.

His first International wicket was that of Pollock who got out for 46 runs. Pollock was a crucial wicket as he had hit 4 sixes and scored 46 runs in 31 balls. Dorey also batted that match scoring 2 runs before being caught by Kemp off a ball by Hall. Australia won the match by 59 runs.
