Mohammad Nafees Iqbal Khan is also known Nafees Iqbal and is a opening right handed batsman and a right arm medium pace bowler with the Bangladesh cricket team. He has played cricket with the Chittagong division club.

Nafees Iqbal started playing first class cricket in 2000. He debuted in International Cricket in 2003 in a one day match against England at Chittagong. Iqbal could only score 9 runs in the 19 balls that he faced before getting caught by Trescothick on a ball by Anderson. England won that match by 7 wickets.

Iqbal made his test debut the following year in 2004 in a match against New Zealand at Dhaka. Iqbal got off to a disastrous start and went off with just 1 run after facing 19 balls in the first innings. In the second innings, he got out on one run short to his first test half century at 49 after facing 111 balls. Iqbal scored his first test century in 2005 against Zimbabwe with an impressive 121 knock which rewarded Bangladesh their first test victory.
