Heath Hilton Streak is a professional Zimbabwean cricketer who represented the Zimbabwean national cricket team. He is a right handed batsman and a right arm medium pace bowler.
His career started with a bang. In 1993/94 on the tour of Pakistan Streak made his test debut. In only his second test at Rawalpindi he took 8 wickets. In 1995/96 in the final of the Lonrho Logan Cup while playing against Mashonaland Country Districts Streak and his father Denis played in the same Matabeleland team. This was the first occasion for more than 30 years when father and son played in the same match.
Streak is the singular bowler from Zimbabwe to have taken more than 100 Test wickets and one of the two bowlers from Zimbabwe to have taken more than 100 One day wickets. In 2003 world cup Heath along with his team had a disappointing series. In October 2005 Streak retired from international cricket and was selected as the skipper of the Warwickshire County Cricket Club while he had played county cricket for Hampshire in the past.
Streak resigned from the post of Warwickshire skipper on 25th April 2007 due to the reason that captaincy was affecting his on field abilities. In this place Darren Maddy became the captain. Streak left Warwichshire at the end of 2007 season due to family reasons.
