Asad Ullah Khan Pathan is a professional Indian Cricketer born on 17th June, 1984 in Ankleshwar Gujarat. He is a right handed batsman and a right arm medium bowler. He plays first class cricket for the Railways in the Ranji Trophy version of the game. Other teams that he had been a part of include Royal Challengers Bangalore, with whom he played his IPL debut match in 2011. At present, he has been retained by the same team to play at the IPL 5 season.

Asad Pathan has been picked up as a budding talent which can be groomed well to turn out as an All-Rounder for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team.

He bats in the lower middle order for his IPL team RCB. In this IPL season he has just managed a highest score of just 14 runs against the Chennai Super Kings and no wickets in any of the matches he has played.

His debut for Railways was against the Uttar Pradesh team on 20th October 2009. He has loads to offer to future Indian Cricket and currently his IPL and Railway team.
