Abrar Anjum Kazi is a professional Indian Cricketer born on 29th September, 1989 in Bangalore Karnataka. He is a slow left arm orthodox bowler and a left hand lower order batsman. He has represented Karnataka State Cricket Association Colts XI in the List A matches or the domestic level. He played with teams like Karnataka State Cricket Association Colts XI and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has been retained by the Royal Challengers Bangalore team to play for the IPL 5 season.

In the List A matches he has managed to pick up 14 wickets from just 7 games he has played till date and also has the best figures of 4 for 33 runs. Royal Challengers Bangalore has picked Abrar Kazi observing the young and flourishing talent in him. He played his debut IPL match against Rajasthan Royals on 11th May 2011. It did not turn out to be a great match for him as he could not pick any wicket but he portrayed a fighting character and showed his bowling skills.

Abrar Kazi looks to be a good mould of a left arm spinner as he generally relies on the pace variations and the flight of the delivery which is a wonderful guile to develop for such a young cricketer. He will surely be beneficial by being a part of the RCB squad as they have senior quality spinners like Daniel Vettori and Tillakaratne Dilshan who have played International Cricket for years now.
