Yaleeka Gnaneswara Rao is an Indian professional cricket player, born in Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh in 1984. This all rounder is a middle order batsman and got selected to play for the India under 19 cricket team in 2000-01. He was also a part of the India men squad during the 2000-01 under 19 Cricket World Cup.

It was in 2002 tour of England, that Rao was selected as the captain of the team though he was not able to play the first test match, and the stand in captain for the match was Maninder Bisla. The series, however, was lost in the third test match as the Indian team lost by 185 runs.

Of the 43 first class matches that he played, Rao scored 1581 runs, taking 1102 balls and 22 wickets. With right to List A matches, he played in 35 matches, scoring 933 runs, bowling 462 balls with 15 wickets to his credit. Moreover, Rao played in 11 Twenty20 matches, scoring 258 runs, taking 1 wicket of 30 balls.

Subsequently, Rao made his debut in the Ranji Trophy domestic cricket in 2000-01 cricket season for his State, Andhra Pradesh and presently, he is representing the team in the Indian domestic cricket.

Rao played his first class debut in 2000 against the Kerala team, with his List A debut being in 2004 against the Goa team. At present, he is an active part of the IPL Team, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, 2011.
