Amit Ramkumar Yadav is a professional Indian cricket player who was born in Goa in 1989. The major teams that he has been part of include Goa and Kings XI Punjab. This all-rounder is a right hand batsman and a right arm offbreak. He played for the team of Kings XI Punjab IPL Franchise in 2011. Presently, he has been retained by this team to play at the IPL 5 season 2012.

Amit plays on the domestic circuit for his home team, Goa and has been on the domestic first class cricket since 2009. He has taken 20 wickets in 9 of the matches and has even played for the domestic Twenty20 matches since 2007.

Of the 14 first class matches, Amit scored 435 runs at an average of 29 and a strike rate of 50.05, bowling 2403 at an average of 23.75 taking 41 wickets.

With right to 20 List A matches, he made 356 runs, at an average rate of 29.66 and a strike rate of 90.35. He bowled 959 balls and took 21 wickets. Moreover, Amit played in 18 Twenty20 matches, scoring 143 runs, at an average of 10.21 and a strike rate of 126.54. He bowled 336 balls, taking 16 wickets at a bowling average of 23.56.

On 15th May 2012, India TV, a local news channel reportedly accused him based on a sting operation and he was suspended along with five others for spot fixing issue.
