James Lee Pattinson is an Australian Cricket player who is a right hand batsman and a right-arm fast-medium. James was born in Melbourne in 1990 and is presently playing with Victoria team. He has played for Dandenong Cricket Club in Victorian Premier Cricket. At a recent IPL players auction, James was retained by the Kolkata Knight Riders team to play for the IPL 5 season 2012.

James played for Australia in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia. James made his first class debut for the Victorian Bushrangers and won a contract with Nottinghamshire consequently. He broke the record of Victorian One Day cricket in December 2009 by taking 6 wickets conceiving 48 runs of 10 over’s which included a maiden, despite his efforts Victoria ending up in losing side against New South Wales.

A part of the IPL 2011 for Kolkata Knight Riders, he was one of the bowlers having good performance with the ball.
