Ashok Lakshminarayan Menaria is a professional Indian Cricketer, born in Udaipur on 29th October, 1990. He is a left handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spinner. Ashok Menaria made his First-Class debut against Mumbai and playing for Rajasthan in 2008. At present, he has been retained by the Rajasthan Royals team to play at the IPL 5 season 2012.

In 2009, he was made the Captain of the Indian Under-19 Team which toured to Australia. His leadership led the team to win the tournament against Australia by winning 2-1 in the One-Day matches. The next year he was retained with the Captaincy for the Under-19 World Cup which did not turn out to be a good experience for the team as they were eliminated in the quarter finals against Pakistan.

The next year proved lucky for him as Royal Challengers Bangalore selected him for the IPL. One of his better performances with the bat came in the year 2011 where for his domestic side Rajasthan he made a century against Mumbai Team. Rajasthan Royals Team selected him for IPL 2011. He played shoulder to shoulder with players like Shane Watson and Shane Warne from Australia who possesses wonderful International Cricket exposure.

Ashok Menaria has played in 14 First-Class matches where he has scored 1125 runs at an average of 56.25 and has hit 4 centuries in them. Moreover, he played in 17 List A matches, scoring 388 runs. He participated in 17 Twenty20 matches so far.
