Pakistan have included some new faces in the T20 squad, and this in disguise may help them compete strongly in the shortest format of the game. Fresh legs, who were not part of the dismal test series, will be itching to perform tomorrow, and gain confidence of the selectors.

Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal will be an automatic choice for the 1st match. Also, Shahid Afridi will be the part of playing XI tomorrow. These three explosive batsmen will be a great asset for the team in the T20 series, kicking off from tomorrow.

Ahmed Shehzad might also be included to take up the opener’s role, and Mohammad Hafeez may bat lower.

Other expected players to make the XI may be Nasir Jamshed, Shoaib Malik, Saeed Ajmal, Umar Gul, Mohammad Irfan and Junaid Khan, provided he is fit.

On the other hand, the Proteas have a squad based on inexperience, but these young and inexperienced blokes have the home advantage with them.

Lonwabo Tsotsobe makes into the T20 squad, after being neglected in the test series. He will be hoping that all goes well and he makes a big impact in the two games, he has got for now.

Faf Du Plessis will be leading the T20 side for the two matches, as he has been awarded the captaincy for long term.

Other notable inclusions in the squad are Quinton de Kock, David Miller, Justin Ontong, Ryan Mclaren, Chris Morris, Aaron Phangiso, Farhaan Behardien and Henry Davids.

The contest is expected to be even as South Africa are inexperienced, but have home advantage, and Pakistan T20 record speaks by itself as well.
