Keiji Yamaguchi is a professional boxer who was born on February 17, 1974 in Hakodate, Japan. He stands a good five feet and five and a half inches in height. He fights with a Southpaw stance and competes in the Super Bantamweight division.
His first ever match as a professional boxer was in May 11, 1992 against Fumikazu Onishi in an event that was held in Matsuyama. Yamaguchi was good enough to emerge as the victor of the said match. A few months later, Yamaguchi then faced off with other fighters such as Takayuki Onoda, Koji Ishikawa, Kenij Takaoka, Jojie Ubaldo, and Dash Higashisho. The following year, Yamaguchi went on to face even more fighters including Joe Constantino, Sung-ho Kim, Lee Escobido, Hak-Myung Kim, and Texas Gomez.The last of Yamaguchi’s fights was in April 8, 2002, in an event against Setsuo Kawamasu. The said event was noted as the last fight of Yamaguchi’s career in boxing. So far, there have been no more fights recorded for Yamaguchi.
Over the course of his career, Yamaguchi was able to win 31 fights as an amateur, while raking in 38 fights won as a professional. He even managed to win a couple of titles including the Japan Junior Flyweight from 1994 to 1995. The other notable title is the WBA Junior Flyweight of 1996.
