Vasyl Lomachenko is a popular professional boxer, who is born in Ukrain. Lomachenko previously held champion titles in three weight classes, such as WBO featherweight, WBO junior lightweight, and unified WBA (Super). He was also named as one of the most successful amateur boxers of all time, having been acquired a lot of gold medals from the competitions he joined in.
Early Childhood and Personal Life
At a young age, Lomachenko was trained by his father, Anatoly Lomachenko. He mentioned that his father would have been an ice hockey player rather than a boxing coach until he was trained for the traditional Ukrainian dance class.
As of now, Lomachenko is married to Olena, and both of them live in Camarillo, California with their children.
After his successful stint for his amateur career, Lomachenko decided to become a professional boxer, as he tied records with Saensak Muangsurin for winning the most world titles despite having few professional fights. His debut is the only non-world championship fight.
Since he was a great boxer of his time, he has won the hearts of mainstream media. He even won Prospect of the Year in 2013 and Boxer of the Year in 2016. He was also named Fighter of the Year in 2017 by The Ring and the Boxing Writers Association of America.
Lomachenko is an exceptional fighter in the ring, and when he moves, nobody can dare stop him. His head movement and swift ability to switch stances are his best techniques. His fighting styles were usually likened to boxing legends like Muhammad Ali and Myke Tyson.
