Career

His first professional fight was in April 2015 and it was against Konstantin Piternov in Moscow. In August of that year, he won his first professional title the WBC Silver Light Heavyweight title when he beat Felipe Romero.

In November 2015, he beat Jackson Dos Santos and won the WBA Inter-Continental Light Heavyweight title. In May 2016, he won the WBA Interim World Light Heavyweight title. He defended this in February 2017 and again in April 2017.

In November 2017, he won the WBA World Light Heavyweight title, beating Trent Broadhurst. He defended this five times through 2019. In 2021, he won the WBA Super World Light Heavyweight title, beating Craig Richards. In December of that same year, he defended it against Umar Salamov.

In 2022, he defended the title twice from Saul Alvarez and Gilberto Ramirez.
