Memphis Attack

Memphis Attack – a term commonly known as, “double dribble motion”. It is a kind of offensive strategy which focuses on spreading the players of the offensive team in the half court so that skips or helping on dribble penetration will be difficult for the defensive team. This strategy allows a player an excellent opening, without any defensive players near him, which in turn will easily allow him to do a dunk, layup or a pass. This was developed by Vance Walberg during his time as a coach at Fresno City College.
