UCLA high post offense - a kind of strategy that can be performed by players in the offensive side which uses the strengths of players. It incorporates several techniques including man-to-man offense, post-up abilities of the forward and guard and two-guard front. It can be done on both sides of the court and comes with a variety of options including performing a triangle offense. The advantages of the strategy is that it offers flexibility based on the strengths of the players, consistent pacing, a weak-side attack, excellent offensive rebounding coverage, ability to penetrate the defense and simplicity. It is considered as one of the most widely-used offensive strategy in basketball which was initially used by the legendary head coach at UCLA, John Wooden.
