The Power Forward in basketball is a player position. It is usually given to the tallest forward and is often referred to as ‘the four’.

This is one of the five traditional basketball positions played. While on offense, they usually play with their backs to the basket. In defense, they would often be found under the basket during zone defense.

Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kevin Garnett are some of the greatest power forwards in the history of the NBA. These players achieved the feat in the period between 1974 and 1994. They also resulted in home wins.
