Sambhaji Kadam was born on 15th March 1980 in India. This guard position athlete is one of the renowned professional basketball players of Young Cagers. Currently, he is associated with Young Cagers and national basketball team. He has represented India in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2007 and 2009 as a national basketball player.
Kadam developed his interest in basketball at an early age and became a professional basketball player of India. He made his debut as a professional basketball player with young charges. He started playing for India’s national basketball team in the year 2007 for the FIBA Asia Champions Cup.
During the 2007 FIBA Asia Cup tournament, he has achieved 4 apg. Again in 2009 he was part of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup and exhibited an excellent performance. He has achieved 3.2 apg. India had registered victory over Uzbekistan with the help of Kadam’s 7 assist. India reserved its position on13th place in the FIBA Asia Cup tournament 2009.
The quality of Kadam’s game is unbeatable and very few National level players can match with his speed.
Along with playing for National Basketball Team Kadam has played several domestic games. In the year 2010, he has played with the Indian Army basketball team. He averaged 17 points with 9 assists in the match.
