Brian Scalabrine is an American professional basketball player who was born in Long Beach, California on 18th March 1978. Currently, he is with Chicago Bulls in the Power Forward position with Jersey No.44. At 6 feet 9 inches Brian weighs 235 pounds.
Brian attended Enumclaw High School in Enumclaw, Washington after which he attended Southern California College.
In the second and overall 35th round of the 2001 NBA draft, Brian was chosen by the New Jersey Nets. For the initial few years, he was the twelfth man in the team who spent time on the bench. Here, he was nicknamed “Veal.” During the year 2005, as the team was suffering from injuries, Brian could log in for a decent time interval. His average was 4.5 rebounds and 6.3 points in a game.

The 2004 NBA Eastern Conference semi-final was between the Detroit Pistons and the Nets. The game 5 was very memorable for Brian. There were three overtimes in it. Brian drained four unexpected three pointers. He got twelve of this seventeen points and due to this the Nets had an unbelievable 3-2 series lead. However, the Nets lost the series.
He signed a five year contract worth of 15 million dollars on 2nd August 2005 with the team of Boston Celtics. By 21st September, 2010, he agreed to a non-guaranteed contract with the team of Chicago Bulls.
Brian, on 26th January 2005, scored 29 points at Golden State. He has made 11 rebounds twice, 5 assists six times, 3 steals four times. On 28th February 2007, he managed 3 blocks against New York. On 15th April 2005, he played for 45 minutes at Toronto.
