Austin Daye is a former professional player in the United States of America, his home country. At the 2009 NBA draft, the Short Forward was picked at 15th overall by the Detroit Pistons.
Daye is the son of Darren Daye, a former professional player in the NBA as well as abroad.
Daye went to the Gonzaga University where he was one of the most influential players in his 4 years in college basketball.
